Racquelle Trammell

Racquelle Trammell also known as Miss Mouthy the voice behind Miss Mouthy Podcast. She is a Detroit native and social justice activist. She created Miss Mouthy podcast from the lack of positive media representation as well as visibility for Black Trans Women here in Detroit. Miss Mouthy podcast was created February 01, 2020 with its first episode airing February 03, 2020 in honor of Black History Month. The vision of Miss Mouthy Podcast is about highlighting the voices and experiences of Black TGI folks in the city of Detroit. While sharing space with allies who support and love our Community.  As well as addressing the economic disparity that Trans women of Color in this nation face by starting her media campaign “7 Days of luck with Miss Mouthy 5k giveaway. For the month of July Miss Mouthy picked 7 lucky Ladies to receive a total of $777 each. Miss Mouthy Podcasts have been recognized by Pride Source Magazine saying “But as existing fans know, “Miss Mouthy” goes deeper than an everyday lifestyle chat show. Miss Mouthy was also recently highlighted as one of the “Top 50 Transgender Podcasts You Must Follow in 2021”.  Miss Mouthy has recently named 2021 POZ 100 “Celebrating Black advocates” & 2019 “Celebrating transgender, gender-nonconforming and non-binary advocates” For her work in the HIV community. Most recently awarded Trans artist of the year 2022 by the I am Human foundation.
