Wes King (he/him) is a doctoral candidate in Health Behavior and Health Education interested in structural and community approaches to reducing health inequities impacting vulnerable transgender populations. His dissertation research examines the drivers and health impacts of structural vulnerability (e.g., housing deprivation, violence, poverty) among trans populations with a focus on government policies and community-led efforts that promote health equity for trans people of color. He most enjoys baking, dogs, and the ocean.
